Sponsoring a Child

Over half of Haiti’s school aged children don’t attend school. Many grow up illiterate and turn to begging to survive. With a population of over 9 million people, over 80% of Haitians live in poverty. Your monthly or one-time sponsorship donation can greatly improve the lives of those living in Haiti.

Sponsoring a child in L’Estere, which is where we are currently focusing our sponsorship efforts, gives that child the opportunity to go to school and obtain an education. It will enable them to purchase a school uniform and some school supplies.

Sponsoring a family, with or without school aged children, provides that family with the opportunity to become more self-sufficient. Your dollars enable your sponsored family a chance to develop a small business enterprise for themselves, purchase clothing and food and improve their living conditions.

Whether you choose to support on an ongoing monthly basis or with a single financial contribution, every dollar helps … and every dollar goes directly to the child or family in Haiti that you are sponsoring.

One benefit of sponsoring through LifePaths Global Alliance is the opportunity to directly connect with your child and/or family, to see first-hand the positive impact that your donations are making in the lives of those you are helping. At LifePaths, we strive to connect our sponsors with their families through regular email contact, Facebook, Skype and other means. There is even the opportunity to meet your child or family in person by volunteering with us on one of our mission trips.
