April 30, 2010

Our family would like to take this opportunity to update you on our Molly’s House project. The mission called us and inquired if we could see our way clear to using the monies we have raised for the furniture for the Molly’s house we intend to build in Guatemala, in order to build a home in Haiti for a family who was trying to find shelter on the street. This family’s home was ravished by the Earthquake and they had no where to go – so we built them a Molly’s house in Haiti, (you will note that it has pink trim on it since that was Molly’s favourite colour).

We could never have helped this family without the help of caring people such as you, the family is thrilled and they do call their home – Molly’s house.

Gary and I look forward to venturing to Guatemala in January 2011 to help another such family. In the meantime, we are planning various fund raising projects to re-raise the monies we had set aside for furniture for our Guatemala venture. In any event, Mollyann would be excited – her dream was to have three children, wear my wedding dress and adopt a child from another country – you helped us make part of her dream come true.

Sincerely,

Gary and Muriel MacDonald and family
